In the coming months, in measures both small and large, customers will see Philadelphia Mixers reflect the diversity of its customers various needs through distinct programs, product developments, and initiatives designed to make doing business with the company even more friendly and certainly easier. Driving these efforts, are two familiar faces at Philadelphia Mixers, and to industry at large, Steve Brinton and Todd Hutchinson.

With the appointment of Steve Brinton as general manager, environmental business unit, Philadelphia Mixers has moved a veteran of its wastewater business group into a more dynamic and empowered role with the total restructuring of Philadelphia Mixer's resources. The appointment is aimed at an increased customer service agenda and an acute focus on the specific elements of the day-to-day market gyrations of this major segment of the water and wastewater treatment business for the mixing technology giant.

These increased responsibilities are a natural evolution for Brinton's solid career at Philadelphia Mixers, where he has been an integral part of the company's management and market initiative planning efforts for the last decade. Now he is driving leadership for a dedicated team of sales personnel, both internal and external, exclusively focused on the water and wastewater markets.

The move serves to strengthen Philadelphia Mixers leadership positions in wastewater exponentially leveraging its expertise and creating value that both the customer base and company management desires. Brinton is charged with enhancing existing product offerings as they are bundled into solutions for the wastewater market, and with expanding those solutions to meet the constantly fluctuating demands and opportunities that are presented by this market.

Brinton is well suited for this role having nearly three decades of mixer technology and application field experience under his belt, blended simultaneously with senior management responsibilities in a host of business climates. This includes general manager of sales for Philadelphia's former Canadian licensee as well as national sales manager, VP of international sales and aftermarket services for Philadelphia Mixers.

Todd Hutchinson is the exact counterpart to Brinton on the fluids processing side of Philadelphia Mixers. Hutchinson, as general manager of its specialty and basic chemicals business unit, will direct a refined focus on the needs of the company's largest partnerships, and see to it that its newest customers receive the same acute care and stewardship that it has dedicated to long time Philadelphia Mixers partners.

The company recognizes that identifying what works for some of the most critical and specific mixing process demands, and then making sure those remedies and solutions are available unilaterally, is not a simple feat, nor does it happen serendipitously. It is a mandate that must have its own leadership, oversight and accountability. Only then will these achievements be readily known and accessible throughout the entire representative organization.

This is Hutchinson's definition of what he intends to deliver, and it is a charge he comes to with years of experience as an alliance manager for the company's work with E.I. DuPont de Nemours. His expertise is built on a background in mechanical engineering and nearly two decades of work experience in specialty and basic chemicals mixing technologies.

Philadelphia Mixers is confident that Brinton and Hutchinson will continue proving they are valuable assets for its customers. Brinton can be reached at [email protected] and Hutchinson, at [email protected].
