SOR hires Bill Dickinson as vice president

Aug. 2, 2002 -- SOR, Inc. has hired Bill Dickinson as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Dickinson, who has spent his career with large corporations, is looking forward to working in the intimate work environment SOR provides by being privately owned. He not only likes what SOR is, but what it is going to become. "It is an exciting time to be with SOR," Dickinson explains, "there is a big future for the company."

Dickinson brings more than 30 years experience in the process instrumentation business to SOR. Most recently, he has spent the past 15 years with Yokogawa Corporation of America and prior to that he was with Rosemount. Dickinson launched his career at Leads & Northrup. After graduating from college with a degree in mechanical engineering, he made a decision early on to pursue a career in sales rather than engineering and has been in sales ever since. Dickinson has also completed his Masters in Industrial Management at Purdue University.

In his spare time Dickinson enjoys canoeing, hiking, and generally anything out of doors. He is also learning to build wooden boats.
