EPA offers water quality standards academy training course in Washington, DC

EPA is offering its 5-day introduction to water quality standards course on Feb. 25 through March 1 and March 11 through March 15.

Washington, DC, Jan. 25, 2002 -- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering its 5-day introduction to water quality standards course on Feb. 25 through March 1 and March 11 through March 15.

The course is a comprehensive and highly structured course that introduces participants to all aspects of the water quality standards program, including the interpretation and application of the water quality standards regulation; policies and program guidance; and the development of water quality criteria (human health, aquatic life, sediment, nutrient, and biological).

The course is designed for those with fewer than six months
of experience with water quality standards.
