PHOENIX, Ariz., Sept. 25, 2002 -- Ron Chebra has joined R. W. Beck Inc., a management consulting and engineering firm, as a senior consultant in the firm's Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) practice based in the Phoenix, Ariz., office.
Based outside of Princeton, N.J., Chebra will market and deliver services related to all phases of utility customer automation processes including business strategy, technology assessments, procurement assistance and implementation tactics for utilities that provide electric, gas and water services.
Chebra has more than 30 years of experience, and previously was the head of his own consulting firm where he provided similar services to utilities, and suppliers to this industry.
He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology; has more than 15 patents for products and services providing critical event monitoring and reporting worldwide and recently served as president of the Automatic Meter Reading Association (AMRA), an international not-for-profit association focused on these applications.
