Molndal, Sweden, June 17, 2002 -- Arauco, one of the world's largest forestry companies, has placed an order for 300 ABS process pumps for a new pulp mill in Valdivia, Chile.

The Greenfield mill will have a production of 600,000 tons/year of bleached kraft market softwood and hardwood pulps made from eucalyptus and pine.

The order includes a number of different pumps used for various positions in a pulp mill: digester circulation pumps, evaporation pumps, fan pumps and some pumps for chemical preparation including pumps in casted titanium for a chlorine dioxide plant.
