Global Water Technologies receives new equity

Global Water Technologies Inc., a cooling water treatment company, has received $850,000 of new equity from George Kast, the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

GOLDEN, Colo., Oct. 9, 2002 -- Global Water Technologies Inc., a full-service cooling water treatment company utilizing advanced technologies and engineered solutions to provide process cooling water to power plants, process industries, HVAC and municipalities worldwide, has received $850,000 of new equity from George Kast, the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Kast purchased 530,657 shares of the company's Restricted Common Stock at a price of $1.60 per share.
