Parsons appoints Scott as president of Infrastructure & Technology Group

Parsons announced the appointment of John A. (Jack) Scott as President of Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group, effective September 14th, 2002.

PASADENA, Calif., Oct. 8, 2002 -- Parsons announced the appointment of John A. (Jack) Scott as President of Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group, effective September 14th, 2002.

Parsons Infrastructure & Technology, one of the primary business units of Parsons Corporation, provides full service engineering and management services to an array of market sectors including pharmaceuticals, environmental, water resources, industrial, commercial, institutional and government.

Scott, based in Pasadena, California, is responsible for the business unit's worldwide activities, business development, and maintaining the corporation's state-of-the-art technology and resource capabilities. The business unit employs over 4,800 people and currently operates throughout the United States and in over 30 countries internationally.

"Jack is a long-time Parsons veteran who brings a wealth of experience and energy to his new position. I look forward to working with Jack as he develops the strategy and plans to ensure sustainable growth in the Infrastructure and Technology Group," stated Jim McNulty, Parsons CEO and Chairman of the Board.

Scott has 17 years of experience with Parsons in management of various business units. Prior to this current assignment, Scott was Group Executive Vice President. Scott's professional background also includes 14 years' experience in numerous project management positions with the U.S. Army.

Jack Scott holds a Master's Degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University. Scott, a resident of Arcadia, CA, is married with two sons.
