NORWOOD, Mass., April 10, 2002 -- East of Scotland Water, which provides water and waste water services to around 1,700,000 people in Scotland, is to implement Elcom International's PECOS Internet Procurement System.
The East of Scotland Water implementation is part of the contract awarded by the Scottish Executive to Cap Gemini Ernst & Young UK in November 2001 for the provision of an eProcurement available to public sector organisations in Scotland. Under the terms of the contract, Elcom will provide the hosted eProcurement platform and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young UK will provide systems integration and implementation services.
