An Australian pump manufacturer was successful in supplying 25 various sized TKL Primo-Titan self-priming pumps to Buenos Aires famous zoo through its part owner Flowserve in Argentina.

Feb. 6, 2002 -- Australian pump manufacturer Thompsons Kelly & Lewis (TKL) was successful in supplying 25 various sized TKL Primo-Titan self-priming pumps to Buenos Aires famous zoo through its part owner Flowserve in Argentina.

The pumps handle liquid waste, pollutants, animal manure and other pumpable waste from the confines of the zoo and transport it to a treatment plant.

The customer's pump selection was for a reliable low ownership cost pump, which would be both reliable, and easily maintained.

The TKL Primo-Titan pumps have been chosen for their ability to handle solids.

Further important factors were: rugged design, abrasive resistant materials, generous wear allowance and easily being serviced.
