MILWAUKEE, Wis., Dec. 4, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE)—Badger Meter, Inc. (AMEX:BMI) today announced that it has added Honeywell DMC Services Inc. to its list of industry alliance partners. Honeywell DMC is one of several companies providing turnkey services for Badger Meter, Inc.
Honeywell DMC is a subsidiary of Honeywell International focused on the delivery of services within the utility marketplace, with current clients that include both utility and technology companies.
In addition, the company's Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of up to 600,000 shares of the company's stock in the open market, over a three-year period, depending on market conditions.
Shares may be purchased in privately-negotiated transactions or otherwise, at a price or prices reasonably related to the then current market price.
