The depth of functionality enQuesta offers will allow us to improve efficiencies in our billing, customer history archiving, and revenue and consumption analysis," comments Jeff Kimel, Water Customer Service Manager, City of Greensboro. enQuesta will also enable Greensboro to automate their work order and edit processes.

Presented through a browser, users will not only have the ability to attain all customer information in just one click, but they will also be able to customize their portals to display information most relevant to their particular work group.

About The City of Greensboro

Greensboro was established in 1808 and named for Nathanael Greene, a Revolutionary War Hero. For the first few decades of its existence, Greensboro was truly a frontier town consisting of five stores and three saloons.

Today, the city furnishes water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and solid waste collection services to a population exceeding 230,000. The city first established a public water system in 1901. Greensboro currently draws raw water from Lake Brandt, Lake Townsend, and Lake Higgins and it is then treated at the North Buffalo and T.Z. Osborne Treatment Plants.

In 1994, the stormwater utility was created to provide a comprehensive funding mechanism to meet the city's needs for stormwater quantity and quality management.

Finally, the solid waste division is responsible for the collection and disposal of solid waste garbage, recyclable collection and marketing, yard waste collection and composting, and continued environmental education for all citizens and employees.
