CARLSBAD, Calif., Sept. 16, 2003 -- Sub-Surface Waste Management of Delaware Inc. announced it has received and commenced a follow-on contract with the City of Chula Vista, Calif. to continue sub surface investigations at its former vehicle maintenance facility.
SSWM work is to confirm whether constituents of concern have been inadvertently released on site requiring site remediation. The property is currently inactive and surplus subject to sale and redevelopment.
Bruce Beattie, president of SSWM stated, "Our follow-on work at this site though investigatory in nature is undertaken with an end-point focus toward overall site remediation using our proprietary microbial technology. Clients seek our early involvement at their suspect sites in order to reduce the expense and delays inherent in site characterization and to move quickly into remedial design and implementation. SSWM is an applied engineering technology company that helps clients get their impaired properties to market more quickly than conventional service providers."
