Midan Industries Ltd. is the manufacturer and distributor of The TURBORATOR high performance mechanical aerator and mixer. Midan Industries Ltd is an ISO 9002 registered company with decades of manufacturing experience producing alloy steel components for industrial pumps and other equipment.
Introduced in 1988, TURBORATORS patented technology is a means of supplying atmospheric oxygen to municipal or industrial effluents. To date, the technology has been used in wastewater treatment applications, but the extent of mixing and aeration applications are unlimited.
The radial flow impeller draws air through a hollow shaft 8 feet below the liquid surface without requiring a blower or compressor to supply oxygen to meet variable BOD requirements in process water. The units offer excellent oxygen transfer rates, turbulent mixing, micro bubble formation and complete control over aeration and mixing requirements.
The units are available in standard sizes from 5 - 30 HP or can be custom built to meet your process requirements. They can be installed on fixed supports, or mounted on floats and are available in a range of finishes. The components are produced in 316 stainless steel, but are also available in powder coated carbon steel.
TURBORATOR aerators and mixers have a track record with over 15 years of continuous service at some installations. For more information, visit http://www.turborator.com/.
