DEDHAM, Mass., July 11, 2003 - Woodard & Curran has announced that Operations and Maintenance Specialist Richard Hunt and Plant Manager Stuart Mellen have joined the firm's Operations and Management team.
Hunt has experience in the operation, maintenance, and management of industrial facilities and manufacturing equipment as well as private water and wastewater treatment systems.
He will serve as O&M Specialist for facilities in Massachusetts and the northeast that are contract operated by Woodard & Curran.
He has an associate's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts and is a certified electrician, wastewater operator, refrigeration technician, and backflow prevention assembly tester. He comes to Woodard & Curran from Setra Systems in Boxborough, Massachusetts, where he was a facilities manager and engineer.
Mellen will serve as Plant Manager of the Gloucester, Massachusetts, water and wastewater treatment facilities. He has more than 10 years of experience in the contract operations industry including management of the Bridgeport and New London, Connecticut, water and wastewater systems.
Prior to joining Woodard & Curran, he was a project manager with USFilter's Operating Services. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
