Haestad Methods announced that it has provided its award-winning software to several new key accounts in the Middle Eastern and North African regions.

WATERBURY, Conn., July 28, 2003 -- Haestad Methods announced that it has provided its award-winning software to several new key accounts in the Middle Eastern and North African regions.

Some of the company's recent successes have included contracts with the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Water Works; Saud Consult, Saudi Arabia; Alexandria Water General Authority, Egypt; Ministry of Energy and Water, Zambia; and the University of Jordan.

Using Haestad Methods' software, clients in these arid areas have designed new and more efficient water distribution and drainage systems, supplying the population with plentiful and hygienic water. In particular, Saud Consult recently used WaterCAD®, Haestad Methods' water distribution modeling software, to complete several high-profile projects in Saudi Arabia for the Al-Madina Al-Munawwara water network, the Al-Quassim irrigation water network, and the Onaizah City water transmission line.
