April 22, 2003 -- Linda Mysliwy Conlin, Assistant Secretary for Trade Development at the U.S. Department of Commerce, has accepted the invitation to give the keynote address "Partnering for Success" at WWEMA's 30th Washington Forum on May 8-9, 2003.
She has more than 22 years experience as an international marketing and management executive. Her office is responsible for helping U.S. businesses succeed in the world's global marketplace. She overseas a $62 million budget and manages 366 industry specialists.
Assistant Secretary Conlin will discuss ways WWEMA members can enhance their competitiveness in the global market, as well as take part in the post-war Iraq reconstruction efforts.
A signing ceremony will take place at the conclusion of her remarks, formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding between WWEMA and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
