Intergraph announces new software subscription program
Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions today announced the availability of its new GeoMedia® Software Subscription Program.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 10, 2003 - Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions today announced the availability of its new GeoMedia® Software Subscription Program.
Through the program, customers may purchase one-year subscriptions to run one or multiple licenses of desktop and Web products in the GeoMedia family suite. Version 5.1 of the GeoMedia product family is immediately available through the subscription program and is delivered via node-locked or concurrent mode.
The new subscription program reduces large up-front capital expenditures, making it easier for customers to invest in geospatial solutions.
During the subscription period, support and product upgrades are included at no additional cost. After the first and subsequent years of software subscription, users can exercise purchase options based on a discounted percentage of the software's list price.
Commenting on Intergraph's new software subscription program, David D. Holmes, director of worldwide product strategy, Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions, said, "This new program benefits organizations by providing more flexibility in managing the costs of deploying geospatial solutions. The new purchasing option provides professionals with additional cost-effective options to apply GeoMedia products to build, manage, analyze and distribute geospatial information enterprisewide."
The GeoMedia products serve as the foundation for Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions' transportation management, land information management, military and intelligence, geospatial resource management and map production solutions.
