Nu Electric considers new acquisition

Nu Electric Corporation, an environmental technology company, announced today that they were considering their third corporate purchase. The new acquisition candidate has an electronic system developed by a nationally known research facility.

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla., Aug. 17, 2001 — Nu Electric Corporation, an environmental technology company, announced today that they were considering their third corporate purchase. The new acquisition candidate has an electronic system developed by a nationally known research facility.

"Since the new technology is already patented, we could hit the ground running with it," stated President Laurie C. Scala. More details about the potential buyout will be issued after a letter of intent is signed.

NRGE is a holding company that owns two pollution-control businesses, Clean Water Technologies, Inc. and Zorax, Inc. Clean Water deals with the removal of arsenic from drinking water; Zorax technology involves the extraction of cryptosporidium and giardia from water.

As a reporting company, Nu Electric has also released their 10K (annual report). The information can be accessed at major financial web sites.
