Great Lakes executive to depart

Great Lakes Chemical Corporation (NYSE: GLK) today announced that Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mark Tomkins is leaving to become Senior Vice President and CFO for Vulcan Materials Company based in Birmingham, Alabama.

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 2, 2000 (PRNewswire) — Great Lakes Chemical Corporation (NYSE: GLK) today announced that Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mark Tomkins is leaving to become Senior Vice President and CFO for Vulcan Materials Company based in Birmingham, Alabama.

Kevin Mulcrone, Vice President / Controller, will assume the role of CFO on an interim basis, effective immediately.
