September 24, 2001 — The MART Corporation has joined the ranks of international companies that are working on international industrial wastewater projects.
Current assignment locations are in Mexico, China, Puerto Rico, Cayman Islands, and the Caribbean. Other projects under review are in Germany, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, and the Ukraine.
The MART Corporation manufactures proprietary cabinet style parts washers, industrial wastewater processing equipment, and chemicals for both. The MART EQ-1 Wastewater Treatment System reduces waste disposal from aqueous industrial processes by 90%.
Encapsulated waste will not leach in a TCLP test and can most often be safely disposed of in a sanitary landfill. The System clarifies wastewater and recovers up to 85% of the active chemical for reuse in its original process. As an alternative, the treated effluent may be eligible for sewer disposal.
