WaterChef ships first container of PureSafe water stations to Jordan

David A. Conway, WaterChef President/CEO, announced today that the Company has shipped the first of twelve containers to Aqaba, Jordan.

GLEN HEAD, N.Y., June 6, 2001 — David A. Conway, WaterChef President/CEO, announced today that the Company has shipped the first of twelve containers to Aqaba, Jordan.

Eleven additional containers will be shipped, one every two weeks, fulfilling its multi-million dollar order, on schedule, to the I. Salman Import & Export Trading Company in Jordan.

Mr. Conway further stated that INTESA BCI is providing the financing for the Jordan order through their London office. Atlantic Commercial Services of Bluffton, South Carolina, represented WaterChef in securing the financing.

The PureSafe Water Station is a self contained, six-stage water purification system, which produces up to 10,000 gallons per day of clean drinking water from any water source. The PureSafe destroys all living pathogens and handles a broad range of organic and inorganic contaminants, all for less than a penny per gallon operating cost.

Waterchef, Inc. has been in business since 1993 and manufactures water coolers, water purification systems and distributes filters of various types including shower filters for home use. The Company is headquartered in Glen Head, New York and has factories in Tianjin - Peoples Republic of China, Havre, Montana and Bohemia, New York.
