MIAMI, Fla., June 4, 2001 — EnviroClean has signed an agreement with the Public Works Department, City of Covington, Louisiana that allows the city to conduct a pilot program utilizing EnviroClean's product ECT-2000W to treat wastewater within the city's treatment facilities.
These tests will determine if ECT-2000W can successfully reduce to less than 200 colonies of fecal coliform per sample tested during the pilot program.
In addition, EnviroClean Technologies, LLC has given Iron Out, Inc., permission to market, sell and distribute EnviroClean's product ECT-2000W under Iron Out's Pro Products name, brand and private labeling for water treatment applications. National and international distribution would be under Iron Out's Pro Products private label.
EnviroClean Technologies, LLC, develops water disinfectant products that meet or surpass FDA/EPA standards.
The products - ECT-2000D for disinfecting drinking water and ECT-2000W for treating wastewater - serve as a replacement for chlorine, and/or as an alternative disinfectant product, offering all the disinfecting benefits of chlorine.
The product is less expensive than reverse osmosis (RO), ultra-violet (UV) or ozone.
