Raleigh/Durham, NC, July 19, 2001 — Dr. Morton Kamien, Kellogg Graduate School of Management, will deliver this year's keynote address for Filtration 2001.
His keynote topic is "We're Off to See the Wizard!" He will focus on appearances being deceiving as it relates to future economic and manufacturing trends. INDA will be holding its annual Filtration Conference & Exposition at Navy Pier, Chicago, Illinois from December 4 - 6, 2001.
This conference and exposition is the largest filtration event in the world attracting over 2,000 professionals from the filtration industry.
Dr. Kamien has held several professorial positions throughout his career in Carnegie-Mellon University, Northwestern University as well as the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is currently the Director for the Heizer Center for Entrepreneurial Studies.
His main areas of research are economic theory, industrial organization, optimization techniques and entrepreneurship. Dr. Kamien has co-authored many publications and textbooks as well as being the Associate Editor for the Journal of Economics & Management Strategy.
