Feb. 7, 2011 -- Mott MacDonald has been appointed by Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) as one of four consultants on its Technical Services framework in the UK. The framework covers Northumbrian Water's operating areas in the northeast as well as Essex and Suffolk.
The framework will comprise technical advisory services for multidisciplinary engineering work and will include feasibility studies, outline and detail design, site supervision and construction design and management coordinator services, all with associated environmental support.
Saeed Chaudhry, Mott MacDonald's project director said, "This framework will be a continuation of a strong working relationship with NWL as we have worked alongside the company for many years."
He continued, "NWL have a number of challenging sustainability targets in place for the period of the framework and we hope to add value and contribute to these targets by using the range of unique tools developed by Mott MacDonald such as CapIT and LifeCycle."
The framework commences in April 2011 and will be in operation for ten years, subject to reviews during the period.
