Simple hose fittings on the unit permit using hose/tubing with inside diameters from 1/16" to 3/16". Large 5/8" digits are visible from six feet. At the touch of a button, the unit may be zeroed or any pressure may be set to zero. Differential feature permits reading the difference of the pressure or vacuum between two different sources. The enhanced GE CheckPoint Pharma On-Line/Portable Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Sensor is typically mounted and used online for continuous monitoring. Measuring the levels of TOC in the water is an important step for pharmaceutical companies to control processes that are critical to their operations and to comply with regulations. The instrument was designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry and has a standard operating procedure that meets minimum United States Pharmacopeia (USP), European Pharmacopeia (EP), China Pharmacopeia (CP) and Indian Pharmacopeia (IP) specifications. It also can be hand-carried to any point in a water system for rapid diagnostic sampling and troubleshooting. The instrument can measure TOC in hot (up to 90°C) or ozonated water and will operate at ambient temperatures up to 55°C.
