SAN RAFAEL, CA, Nov. 10, 2008 -- PAX Water Technologies announced that it has received NSF/ANSI Standard 61 Certification for its innovative mixing technology for potable water storage applications. NSF/ANSI Standard 61 was developed to establish minimum requirements for the chemical contaminants and impurities that are indirectly imparted to drinking water from products, components, and materials used in drinking water systems.

PAX's active mixing technology provides utility operators with the most effective, flexible and affordable solution to prevent disinfectant residual loss and associated bacterial re-growth and nitrification -- common problems in stagnant and stratified storage facilities. The submersible system easily installs without tank modifications or draining, and operates independent of pump operations.
