Video: UK toddler recovers after storm drain rescue
LONDON, UK, Sept. 9, 2008 -- While reportedly splashing in puddles in a park, a three-year-old girl in northern England was sucked down a storm drain, swept along a pipe and ended up in a swollen river. The child suffered only cuts and bruises is recovering. Investigators believe the drain cover may have been dislodged after days of torrential rain and storms across northeast England.
