Toray water voted best tasting
POWAY, CA, June 2, 2008 -- The Mac Midgett Water Plant, in Rodanthe, NC, won the 2008 Best Tasting Water Contest at the annual North Carolina Rural Water Conference in Greensboro. The plant uses Toray TMG20-430 low pressure brackish water reverse osmosis membrane elements to supply drinking water for the town on North Carolina's Outer Banks.
Water quality and customer satisfaction are crucial for the town which depends heavily on the tourist trade and attracting repeat visitors. The reverse osmosis system helps to provide a reliable source of supply, especially when demand increases during the summer months.
Toray membranes are installed in numerous drinking water plants throughout the country providing millions of gallons a day of pure, great tasting water.
