• seepex re-awarded framework following 6 successful years with YWS
SOMERSET, England, UK, June 18, 2008 -- seepex UK Ltd has won a new joint progressive cavity pump framework agreement with Yorkshire Water Services (YWS). The 12 month framework agreement which runs until April 2009 was awarded following an extensive selection process and offers a 6 year extension option.
The framework covers the design, supply, installation and commissioning of progressive cavity pumps for liquid and dewatered sludge applications, polymer and chemical dosing plus equipment for sludge conditioning. A key reason that seepex UK Ltd was selected was its ability to meet YWS and its contract partners stringent supply chain demands including its technical competence, innovative and partner centred approach and first class commercial offering.
Yorkshire Water, which is the main subsidiary of Kelda Group, provides water and sewerage services to 4.7 million people and 140,000 businesses in the Yorkshire region. Each day YWS supply over 1.24 billion litres of drinking water to its customers.
