Bahrain, Dec. 12, 2008 -- POWER-GEN Middle East, the region's premier conference and exhibition for the power and water industries, has received the gracious Patronage of H.H. Keeping Pace with the Middle East's Economic Expansion
This years' theme, 'Keeping Pace with the Middle East's Economic Expansion', encapsulates an event that aims to discuss how the Middle East can plan and meet the power and water demands of the future, in a region that is experiencing growth at an extraordinary rate..

With over 120 anticipated exhibitors and over 3000 expected visitors from over 50 countries, POWER-GEN Middle East will be the most important annual meeting place for international power and water executives for the MENA region.

Adnan Fakhro, Vice President of Distribution and Customer Services, Electricity and Water Authority of Bahrain, said, "We are delighted to see the return of POWER-GEN Middle East to Bahrain and are, once again, pleased to be offering the support of the Electricity and Water Authority of Bahrain to such an important event. Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the support of the Electricity and Water Authority of Bahrain, demonstrating both the importance of POWER-GEN Middle East as an event in the region, but also how serious the authorities in Bahrain view the need to keep pace with the demands for power and water in the region."

"We look forward to another successful POWER-GEN Middle East in Bahrain in February 2009 and this support will go a long way to ensuring this event remains the leading industry event in the Middle East," continued Ensor.
