Epuramat delivers wastewater treatment plant to plastics recycling company in Germany
CONTERN, Luxembourg, July 23, 2008 -- Epuramat S.A. has concluded a purchasing contract with the German plastics recycling company Eu-Rec plast GmbH for a wastewater treatment plant at their location in Trier, Germany. The plant will be delivered and commissioned this year.
The plant comprises the patent-pending Extrem-Separator "ExSep" that efficiently replaces the pre-treatment of conventional sewage systems as well as a fully automatic control system including remote monitoring and alarm signal. The very compact plant will be designed for a flow rate of 60 m³ per hour and a period of operation covering 24 hours per day, at 360 days a year and will be installed onsite in EU-Rec plast GmbH's industrial hall. Epuramat's wastewater system will replace the reed wastewater facilities currently located in Eu-Rec's outer area. Any process water losses will be balanced out by feeding stormwater. Circulated water results in an enormous savings on fresh water as well as a reduction of wastewater taxes in comparison to disposal via communal sewage plants.
Established in 2005, Epuramat S.A. provides technologically advanced wastewater treatment plants and systems.
The Eu-Rec Plast GmbH located in Trier, Germany regranulates plastics, and in particular, PE-films.
