ATLANTA, GA, Jan. 8, 2014 -- Oldcastle Precast Inc., a solutions provider for North American infrastructure projects, announced that it has acquired the assets of KriStar Enterprises Inc. The purchase includes three manufacturing locations in California and all related intellectual property.
KriStar was founded in 1993 and has successfully developed innovative stormwater management products that meet the rigorous and evolving demands of federal, state and local regulations. Oldcastle will focus on marketing these solutions to regulators, owners and civil and environmental engineers nationwide.
With a strong pipeline of innovation, Oldcastle will now bring a full line of water conveyance, storage and treatment products to the marketplace. This acquisition follows the company's successful launch of StormCapture detention and retention products and will provide the entire treatment train solution that civil engineers, owners and contractors are demanding.
Oldcastle will offer many products in the industry, including the FloGard® Dual Vortex, FloGard® PerkFilter and Bio-Mod® brands. Further, the company will also continue to manufacture a broad range of stormwater products and alternative stormwater technologies marketed and sold by its existing partners.
