INDIANAPOLIS, IN, Nov. 1, 2012 -- Delta Faucet Company, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) 2011 WaterSense® Manufacturer Partner of the Year, is committed to helping consumers find smarter ways to live with water. This declaration, which focuses on improving product efficiency without compromising a user's experience, is reinforced by the Delta® brand's recent expansion of its product portfolio, which now includes several new water-efficient products.

"As one of the world's largest manufacturers of faucets, showers and now, toilets, Delta Faucet Company has an enormous responsibility to help people use water efficiently without compromising their experience," said Richard O'Reagan, president of Delta Faucet Company. "We remain focused on continuously developing new products and pioneering technologies that address global water concerns and deliver on user expectations."

Introduced to the market in September 2012, Delta In2ition® showers featuring H2Okinetic™ technology create the feeling of more water without using more water. In2ition showers feature a detachable handshower that can run separately from or simultaneously with the showerhead, offering the warmth and flexibility of two streams of water at once to give the user control to decide how and where the water is directed. When not in use, the handshower employs MagnaTite docking magnetic technology to easily lock back into place on the showerhead, http://www.deltafaucet.com/smart-solutions/in2ition.html.

This year also marks the Delta brand's foray into the toilet category. Delta toilets offer optimum performance; carrying a rating of 10 out of 10 when it comes to flushing power and are virtually clog-free. The 1.28 gallons-per-flush WaterSense labeled toilets also help maintain the brand's promise to offer WaterSense labeled options on all of its bath suites by the end of 2012.

A WaterSense partner since the program's inception, Delta Faucet Company is a pioneer in the advancement of performance standards for water-saving products and has developed several groundbreaking technologies that help promote water conservation in the bath. In the kitchen, Delta Faucet Company has taken the initiative to develop products that encourage efficiency in the absence of national water efficiency standards.

"At Delta Faucet, we are proud to lead the way in water minded innovation in the kitchen and bath, maintaining our purpose to help consumers find better ways to live with water," said O'Reagan. "Looking forward, we're excited about what we have planned as a company to help further this mission, all while enhancing the experience users have with our products."
