Mar. 2, 2009 -- TAPPI will recognize seven outstanding professionals for their contributions to TAPPI, and to the pulp, paper, and packaging industries, by awarding them the designation of TAPPI Fellow. TAPPI Fellow is an honorary title bestowed upon less than three percent of TAPPI's membership, and is given to individuals who have made extraordinary technical or service contributions to the industry and/or the Association.
The TAPPI Fellows Class of 2009 will be inducted at TAPPI's Annual Fellows Luncheon, June 4, 2009, during PaperCon'09, May 31-June 3, 2009 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
TAPPI's seven new Fellows for 2009 are:

• Norman F. Marsolan, Jr., consultant
• John R. Martin, vice president, manufacturing, Packaging Corporation of America
• John A. Neun, process engineer, Albany International Press Fabrics
• Thomas E. Rodencal, consultant
• Michael Y. Sun, senior principal scientist, MeadWestvaco Corporation
• Peter D. Wallace
