PICKERING, ON, Canada, Jan. 19, 2009 -- Eco-Tec has recently been awarded the contract for a water softening system to Kingwhale Industrial Corp., located in Taiwan.
Kingwhale Industrial Corp. is a leading developer of performance fabric and garments for the global apparel industry, controlling the entire production process -- from fiber spinning, to fabric weaving, to final garment manufacture. The water softening system was purchased primarily to provide process water for the dyeing process. The advantages this system offers over the conventional ion exchange systems and other technologies resulted in reduced capital and operating costs.
The integrated water treatment components for the project include a Spectrum Micro Media Filter™, a Recoflo® Water Softener and a Decarbonator. Eco-Tec's most advanced filtration and softening technologies will result in superior performance of the complete system.
