Alfa Laval wins nuclear power order in China worth US$18.9 million

Alfa Laval's plate heat exchangers and filters will be used in the reactor island cooling system where seawater is used to cool a fresh water circuit for various equipment in the plant.

"China has intensified the pace to build up its nuclear power generating capacity and the plan is to reach at least 60 GWe by 2020, corresponding to about 50 new reactors", says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
