LUND, Sweden, July 6, 2009 -- Alfa Laval -- a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling -- has received two orders for Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers from Petrobras in Brazil. The total value is about SEK 55 million and was booked late June 2009. The delivery is scheduled for 2011.
The Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers will be used for heat recovery within the reforming process -- one of the main processes within refinery.

Alfa Laval has been cooperating with Petrobras for more than 25 years supplying equipment for different stages of the oil production process; from extraction to refining.
Did you know that in January, Petrobras announced their Business Plan for 2009-2013 where they envisaged total investments of SEK 1355 billion (USD 174.4 billion) during the period, which is an increase by 55% compared to the Business Plan 2008-2012?
