IRVINE, CA, Apr. 15, 2009 -- BioShaft Water Technology Inc. is pleased to announce that the installation and commissioning of the pilot plant in Wayne, Nebraska is successfully completed.
For any new technology to be utilized as the centerpiece of a new sewer plant it must be approved and certified by state regulatory agencies issuing a discharge permit.
JEO Engineering and the City of Wayne, Nebraska will start collecting samples to be sent to an independent Laboratory for water testing and to ensure the requirements are met to obtain a permit for the BioShaft System in the state of Nebraska.
Once the plant receives the permit, the city of Wayne will consider the BioShaft technology in the new expansion of its wastewater treatment plant.
BioShaft and its agents will have the resulting certification and an operational plant to show to potential customers in the United States market.
BioShaft Water Technology Inc. is a green innovative wastewater treatment technology based on Bio-Filtration utilizing biofilm carriers. These plants are made using the BioShaft Turbo Reactor that is at the heart of the wastewater technology. The plants have many benefits over traditional wastewater treatment systems, including the virtual elimination of sludge and odors and requires significantly less land. It is patented in the UK and the patent is pending in the United States. To date there are more than 30 wastewater treatment plants throughout the world using this technology.
