May 20, 2009 -- Is your water tank a local landmark, a piece of art or the talk of the town? If so, nominate your tank for Tnemec's Tank of the Year (TOTY) contest. Now in its fourth year, the contest recognizes innovative and remarkable uses of Tnemec coatings on water tanks. The winner of the annual competition will receive publicity and prizes including: award presented to the project team, January placement in Tnemec's water tank calendar, nationally distributed press release, project profile on Tnemec's website, and ongoing public relations.

Previous winners include the rose water tower in Rosemont, Illinois; hot air balloon tanks in Anderson, South Carolina; and the Lakes Eagles waterspheroid in Lake Villa, Illinois. Visit http://bozellpr.com/tnemec to view photos of the previous winning entries as well as a video featuring the 2008 winner.

To request a nomination packet that details the rules of the TOTY contest as well as a nomination form and instructions on how to submit your tank for consideration, contact your local Tnemec coatings consultant or email us. Nominations must be submitted by October 2, 2009.

The winner will be selected by a panel of water tank enthusiasts.
