CAMBRIDGE, MA, Jan. 1, 2009 -- To expand and strengthen CDM's global structure for delivering exceptional service to all public-sector clients, the firm has reorganized the former International and Public Services Groups into three multi-country business units. Each unit will be led by a group president.
Alex H. Makled, P.E., BCEE, will serve as Group President for Client Services, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. An environmental engineer with extensive experience in planning, design, permitting, construction, and implementation of water, environmental, infrastructure, and public facilities, Makled most recently led CDM's Southeast U.S. Region. He has a master's in civil engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor's in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
Stephen J. Hickox, P.E., BCEE, is the Group President for Public Services, North America East and Latin America. Hickox previously served as manager of CDM's Northeast U.S. Region. He has more than 35 years of experience providing environmental solutions for wastewater, water supply, and combined sewer overflow projects. He holds a master's in civil engineering from Northeastern University and a bachelor's in civil engineering from Merrimack College.
Donald G. Munksgaard, P.E., BCEE, is the Group President for Public Services, North America West/Central and Asia. Formerly the operations manager for CDM's Public Services Group, Munksgaard has more than 30 years of experience in the planning and design of municipal water, wastewater, solid waste, and stormwater programs. He received a master's in business administration from Florida Atlantic University, a master's in sanitary engineering from Iowa State University, and a bachelor's in civil engineering from Iowa State University.
