• Entropie to supply two units to Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. for Libyan power plants

SAINT MAURICE, France, Jan. 16, 2009 -- Entropie has been awarded a contract by Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd (HDEC) for the FOB supply of two desalination units with a net capacity of 3,600 m3/d of distilled water each.

The final destination of the units is the Al-Khalijpower plant in Libya. End user is General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL).

The units are based on the Multiple Effect Distillation technology (MED). They are composed of four evaporation cells with two under the thermocompressor. Motive steam shall be produced by steam transformer included in Entropie's scope.
