BOULDER, CO, Sept. 22, 2006 -- Particle Measuring Systems announced yesterday the transition of Kristi Urquidi from vice president of manufacturing to vice president of engineering and Brad Schindler as the new manufacturing director.
Ms. Urquidi has been with Particle Measuring Systems for eight years and has worked in process control related industries, both in engineering and operations, for the last twenty years. "She has done an outstanding job of developing our operations capabilities and will bring that perspective, along with her exceptional project management skills, to the engineering department," said company president Paul Kelly.
Schindler's experience includes operations director for Nor-Cal Products and operations director and vice president of Service Center Operations for Micro Motion. He has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, understanding both the products and the customers.
"Particle Measuring Systems has experienced tremendous growth over the last several years. These changes position us to continue to lead the way in microcontamination monitoring as we develop new products and expand into new markets," Kelly said.
Particle Measuring Systems (www.pmeasuring.com) has over 30 years experience as the industry leader in particle monitoring and microcontamination control. It combines high-performance instrumentation with application expertise to solve the problems of pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and other high tech and industrial manufacturers.
