• Cultec Inc. aids in Pennypack Creek Stormwater Initiative -- BROOKFIELD, CT, Sept. 26, 2006 -- Recent revitalization of the Pennypack Creek Watershed comes thanks to the Temple-Villanova Sustainable Stormwater Initiative (T-VSSI) and Cultec Inc. Temple and Villanova -- have combined to form a larger, more powerful stormwater initiative to implement and study the effects of stormwater best management practices (BMPs). Cultec's subsurface infiltration systems are an integral part of this initiative. T-VSSI will test the effectiveness of a Cultec subsurface infiltration system consisting of 25 Recharger® 330 heavy-duty chambers and one Stormfilter™ In-line Filter. • VSI, AMCO unite to complete $9.2M meter replacement, AMR deployment project -- PORTLAND, ME, Sept. 26, 2006 -- VSI Meter Services Inc. has been selected by AMCO Water Metering Systems to manage the system installation portion of a $9.2 million project recently awarded by Portland Water District. VSI work management teams have already begun to refine planning models that will enable the automation of 48,000 water meters over the 24-month contract period. VSI plans to begin the actual installations in October 2006...
