• Project managers Dale Hill and Jerry Seay recognized for excellence in operations.
FORT WASHINGTON, PA, July 21, 2006 -- Two Severn Trent Services project managers received awards from the Michigan Water Environment Association (MWEA) at the organization's annual meeting held June 25-28 in Harbor Spring, Mi. Dale Hill, project manager at a Coca Cola bottling plant in Paw Paw, Mich., received the Loren F. Oeming Award for outstanding operation of an industrial facility. Jerry Seay received the Donald M. Pierce Award for outstanding municipal plant operation for his work at a wastewater treatment facility in Kalkaska, Mich.
Both Hill and Seay were responsible for the startup of separate treatment facilities and continue to oversee project management at their respective plants.
Established in 1925, MWEA represents more than 1,700 water quality professionals statewide and distributes awards annually for excellence in careers involving the water environment. MWEA is a member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international organization with more than 100,000 members worldwide.
