Aqua America closes on four new water system purchases
BRYN MAWR, PA, April 4, 2006 -- With the acquisition of four more water systems in Pennsylvania, Texas and North Carolina, Aqua America Inc. reported today that it closed a total of seven transactions in the first quarter 2006. These include the water system serving the Stonecroft Village development in Berks County, PA; the water system in the Shell Shores/Cedar Bay residential development southeast of Dallas near Tyler in Smith County, TX; the Hooper's Valley Water Company, which serves about 200 residents near Hendersonville, NC; and the water system serving the Dearon Village condominium complex in Surry County, NC...

EVTN nabs purchase order from major oil company
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, April 4, 2006 -- Enviro Voraxial Technology Inc. received a purchase order for its Voraxial® 4000 Separator. The unit will be used for produced water separation at a production facility on the North Slope of Alaska. This purchase is a result of a successful deployment completed in January at the customer's facility. The smaller Voraxial 2000 Separator efficiently separated the oil and solids from a side stream of the approximate 275,000 barrels per day produced water flow. The unit EVTN will ship, the Voraxial 4000 unit, is capable of separating an average of 300 gpm or 10,300 barrels per day. The estimated ROI (return on investment) for the customer on the final installation is approximately six months. Foster Wheeler wins environmental retrofit at Spanish power plant -- HAMILTON, Bermuda, April 4, 2006 -- Foster Wheeler Ltd. announced today that Foster Wheeler Energia, S.A. (FWESA), part of its Global Power Group, has been awarded a contract by Hidroelectrica del Cantabrico (HC) to supply and install new low-NOx burners and to upgrade the mill classifiers on Unit #1 at HC's Abono power plant in Spain. These modifications will permit HC to meet European Union emission regulations. The contract, valued at approximately US$6.6 million (€5.4 million), will be included in the company's first-quarter 2006 bookings. The two boilers at the Abono plant, rated at 360 electric megawatts (MWe) and 540 Mwe, respectively, were originally supplied by Foster Wheeler. They were designed to fire local bituminous coal and blast furnace gas and were commissioned in 1973 and 1985. In 2005, Foster Wheeler was awarded the contract to upgrade the burners of Unit #2, the newer of the two units...
