JACKSONVILLE, FL, April 17, 2006 -- Brian Devine, the Southeast regional sales manager for Hot Box®, has been on deployment since November 2004 in Iraq when he was called up to active Army duty as a reservist.
A Jacksonville, FL, resident, married with two children, Staff Sergeant SSG/E-6 Devine is the Support Operations Logistics NCOIC for the 48th Brigade Combat Team out of Georgia, as well as a driver for Convoy Security twice a week. Devine is scheduled to come home this May and return to his duties with Hot Box in time to attend the 2006 AWWA conference/exhibition in San Antonio.
Founded in Jacksonville in 1986 by Mike Devine, Hot Box -- which specializes in engineered enclosures for pumps, backflow prevention systems, compressors and other outdoor equipment requiring protection from the elements -- was sold to CDR Systems Group, of Ormond Beach, FL, in 2004. CDR Systems president Bud McGrane has maintained his commitment to the industry and the company by expanding manufacturing to the West Coast to better serve customers there.
