• Severn Trent provides arsenic removal technology at Sharpe Army Depot -- FORT WASHINGTON, PA, May 23, 2006 -- The Bayoxide^® E33 arsenic removal media from Severn Trent Services has been selected for use at the Sharpe Army Depot in San Joaquin County, CA. The water treatment facility at the depot operates at 500 gallons per minute with arsenic levels at 30 parts per billion (ppb). • Battelle Ventures leads $4 million financing of biodetector maker BioVigilant Systems Inc. -- PRINCETON, NJ, May 23, 2006 -- Battelle Ventures L.P. has led the $4-million Series A financing of BioVigilant Systems Inc., the inventor of instantaneous microbial detection (IMD™) technology and developer of IMD instruments that detect microbes and bio-agents in air and liquid.
