ORANGE COUNTY, CA, Nov. 22, 2010 -- DynGlobal LLC, a US-based renewable energy firm specializing in solar water purification solutions has partnered with Food for the Hungry and deployed several DG 24/7 water purification systems to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). During a visit to Food for Hungry offices in Kalamie, DRC, DynGlobal staff assisted with installation of one DG 24/7 in a nearby village of Tabac, and also trained FH employees for setting up several additional DG 24/7s throughout the country.

Self-contained and powered completely by the energy of the sun, the DG 24/7 units are capable of pumping water from a well up to 30 meters deep, purifying the water to remove bacteria, viruses, and heavy metals such as arsenic and lead, and then "push" the water over 300 meters to a storage holding tank.

"We designed the DG 24/7 specifically for disaster relief and remote situations such as this-where clean water was needed in areas that lacked infrastructure and reliable electricity," says A. Vernon Wright, CEO and founder of DynGlobal.

Each DG 24/7 uses a proprietary, four-phase filtration system that is capable of providing more than 25,000 liters per day from water sources such as rivers, lakes, and bore holes. Furthermore, the self-sufficient units can operate 24 hours a day without the need of grid power or consistent sun exposure.

"In countries throughout Africa such as DRC, where access to clean water and other basic resources is a major challenge, having 'green' solutions isn't just a complementary feature, it's necessary for sustainable solutions," stated Wright. "Our systems in Haiti continue to perform as expected and I am pleased to have additional units continued to be set up in other countries."

In addition to the DG 24/7, DynGlobal has smaller mobile units capable of purifying 500 to 1800 gallons per day. To date, DynGlobal units are slated for purchase and deployment to other locations in DRC, Haiti, Ethiopia, Turkey, Macedonia, Vietnam, Mexico, and several locations utilized by the US military.
