• Invensys to use Transpara's Visual KPI technology to help customer plant personnel to remotely monitor process variables and KPIs from their existing mobile communications devices
FOXBORO, MA, & PLEASANTON, CA, March 7, 2007 -- Transpara Corp. and Invensys Process Systems today announced a global partnership through which Invensys Process Systems becomes a global reseller and certified implementer for Transpara's Visual KPI operations intelligence software. The only composite Key Performance Indicator (KPI) engine available on the market, Visual KPI delivers on-demand, business-critical data about process manufacturing and utility operations to any handheld or desktop browser.

With Visual KPI, users can easily create and customize composite KPIs and scorecards using data from any combination of existing systems - including OSIsoft's PI System, SQL Server, Oracle, OLE DB and Web Services - and publish them for instant use by anyone in the organization or supply chain, from plant floor managers to executives. Visual KPI offers real-time insight into organizational performance by delivering actionable decision-support information directly to the responsible user.
