• 100% increase in sales prompts 100% increases in staff, office space

YARMOUTH, ME, June 8, 2007 -- Laboratory instrumentation manufacturer Fluid Imaging Technologies celebrated the opening of its new corporate headquarters in Yarmouth, Maine. More than doubling the company's space to 3,800 square feet, the state-of-the-art, Class A facility features a new product research and development center, an in-house sample testing laboratory, manufacturing space and ample office space to accommodate plans that call for a 100% increase in staff.

Triggered by a resounding greater than 100% increase in sales over the past three years to customers such as the U.S. Navy, Environmental Protection Agency, Massachusetts Water Resource Authority and a slate of Fortune 500 companies, moving to the new facility will enable the company to capitalize on its fast pace of growth and leverage both its recent string of high profile sales and its impressive record for customer satisfaction while accelerating new product development efforts, according to CEO Kent Peterson.

"We're obviously proud to have the world's most advanced particle imaging analysis technology and a growing band of intensely satisfied customers all over the world," says Peterson, who has grown the company since 2002 with its founder Dr. Christian Sieracki. "But to meet the current level of demand and continue expanding into new markets with new products and new employees, we needed substantially more room to operate. We plan to be here for many years to come."

Fluid Imaging Technologies manufactures the patented FlowCAM® particle imaging and analysis system and plans to unveil several new models to boost penetration in key markets. A host of software-based enhancements for measuring and analyzing particles and biological cells are also in development.
